Dream Valley challenge...Easter

Good Afternoon all and a very Happy Mothers Day , hope you have a brilliant day and get some well deserved goodies....

Well, today we have a brand new challenge for you at Dream Valley, our theme this fortnight is Easter, and we are proudly sonsored this time around by Mulberry Crafts, who want to give you a goodie bag....and Meljen's Designs who are giving four fab images away as a prize...good eh....

I made a gift bag, it should be full with chocolate eggs...wonder where they went and who will have to replace...again...lol...naughty, naughty...lol...
Cardstock was from PM
Image is the wonderful Mo Manning, coloured with Promarkers
Ribbon Celebrations
Die cuts NS
leaves from AuntySue
scrim from stash
sentiment from Donna
Acetate was from stash, I save this stuff all the time, the kids can't get a gift without me scrounging the stuff..lol..
The pom pom frilly thingy on the ribbon was made by just sewing a running stitch through the ribbon and drawing it up and one more stitch to hold in place.
Thats it girls, please pop over to the blog and see what the DT girls came up, with, WOW, and see who's new to our fab team and maybe wish them well.......

Enjoy your day and take care, hugs Janette.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Wow Janette, this is simply gorgeous, I just LOVE that Mo image and the way you coloured it (esp the shadow of his ear, looks so good!), and the fab little pompom ribbon, I must try that.

Would you believe I had a DT project for this challenge about to upload.....before I realised I'd got the wrong theme!! Flipping brain cell is on strike I think, I could have sworn it was Mothers Day theme...doh!

And no, I don't have George on lock down, ha haa, he was wearing me out so I'm lending him out if you want to borrow him for a while.

thanks for your comment, petal, you made me smile and then giggle :) CoB

Hi Janette, such a pretty image and a great project. What a great idea to make a gift bag, should try something other than cards myself more often. I get stuck in a bit of a rut myself and churn out card, after card!

Thanks for the welcome to Design Valley DT, and your supportive comment.
