Afternoon Girls, hope your all enjoying a lovely Sunday somewhere and that the weather is being kind to you......I am off out to my Son and DIL today for a Sunday roast, oh I am looking forward to it, be a nice change and Natalie always puts a good meal on, plus there will no doubt be cake...yum...yum...lol.....

OK, on to our challenge at Dream Valley this time, we have a great theme, Special Lady, and we are sponsored by Saturated Canary....WOW....yep, we all got over excited, and the lovely Krista gave us all a choice of images....yipppeeee...lol...

Here is a little bit of info from Krista.
My name is Krista Smith. I am the artist behind the Etsy shop, Saturated Canary Digis. I began working in the stamping world about a year ago when I was hired to create rubber designs for the sweet Scottish company, Sugar Nellie. They launched my artwork under the name 'Simply Sassy.' I moved into the digital world just this past month (it's been a super busy month, indeed!). And-- I love it!! There is a little more freedom here, as I can create anything that pops into my head:)! I am so humbled by the artistic talent of the girls coloring in my designs-- it is truly an inspiration! Likewise, I am so thankful for the friendships I've made in this wonderful and lovely crafty community! It's been a true delight! Button was a clear one so glued dp to the back and added fine crochet cotton

 Cut sentiment into a Tag so it can slip behind the image on the card....

Kept the inside pretty simple really, but hopefully in keeping with the front.

Happy Birthday Tilly.....

Just a quickie from me to wish our lovely pal, Christine aka Tilly Trotter...a very Happy Birthday....she is now 21 again....how many times is that now girl...lol....I made her a heart hanging thingy for her craft room, which I can now show as she has phoned me to say she loves it.....phew...

OK so it's the usual wooden heart, covered in various DP and then I tried to put as many craft items as possible on there, I mean this woman does all sorts of stuff...mmmmm....lol....I did a tiny craft mat from funky foam and had to make the knitting needles from a small stick with beads on the end..lol...just told her I am now officially into to whittling...lol.....The things you do for friends,,,,honestly....

Just passing time....

Evening Girls, well this is unexpected isn't it...ME online and uploading on a wednesday night....well truth be told, the footie is on and I can't settle in my craft room for some reason...sooooo, I thought I'd share this with you...
It's a wall hanging I made a while back for my craft room. I was sent an e-mail with this lovely verse on it, it's called 'Drinking from my Saucer'..and it.made me cry...lol...for me it was my life, so I had no choice did I...sad thing is, it seems to have bubbled abit. but I don't really mind, it's just for me and no way am I stripping it back.......lol

It's mounted on a piece of chipboard, lots of embossing around the edges and then my lovely family pics...and no, I am not on there, PLEASE I don't want to see myself each time I look up...trust me..lol...the 'Together' sentiment was from my local Garden center, just painted and embossed......

hopefully you can read this better now...

Thats it, hope you can actually read it,but you will cry...lol.... don't say I didn't warn you.......
Well am off to have a browse round the blogs before I can settle down and see whats on the TV...I knew I should've saved American Chopper instead of watching it earlier...just can't help myself, love those guys, and the bikes they build are amazing aren't they......lol...

Joanna Sheen challenge card.

Afternoon ladies, hope your all enjoying the week-end, even if the weather is pants...again...well in my part of the world anyway....
Thought I'd show you this card I made for my DIL Birthday on Thursday just gone...She does catering for a living and makes the most amazing cakes for weddings/birthdays etc...which is why I thought the LOTV image was perfect for her.....



I used Dovecraft Papers, Ribbon from Ribbon Girl...I won before Christmas...Flowers are all stash, die cut swirl from Tilly and pearls are also Dovecraft...Now, that corner is a cake wrapper, well, part of one...Natalie uses thes on her cup-cakes so I nabbed one for her card...lol....may just do it again to, they are gorgeous...sentiment from candy win also...the edges are done with a MS punch as is  the boxed envelope ..
and the image was coloured using Promarkers

A view of the inside,little cupcake was a wooden one I just coloured with PM and put lots of sparkle on, die is NellieSnellen...

Well thats all I can do, struggling with this new blogger thingy...wish they would leave well alone..lol...and why does it all look so small on the actual blog, suddenly my side bars are wider and the rest looks odd...or is it just me.....lol.....

Good Morning girls, all well I hope!!!
Right on to our challenge this week at CraftyCatz.....It's our lovely Carol's turn and she wants us to use Checks or Strips....up to you...easy peasy week methinks....

Dream Valley DT card.....Earth Tones..

Good Afternoon all, are you having a lovely week-end, hope so at least we have sunshine today.....

I'm here with a new challenge for Dream Valley....we want to see you use Earth Tones this week.
It's a nice one and the girls on the DT came up with the most amazing stuff to give you all abit of inspiration, you just have to go see, worth the trip...lol..



For my card I used a Mo Manning image, coloured with Promarkers and chalked the background....

Papers were a freebie, from here , some fabulous images as well as papers, all free...

CraftyCatz challenge 127 CAS..

Morning Lovelies, How are you all, well I hope your well and ready for a new challenge over at CraftyCatz.....

It's my turn this week, so I thought maybe Clean and Simple for a change..so c'mon, get your stash out and do as little as possible and enter our brilliant challenge....you know it makes sense....lol..



As you can see, not alot to this card, but I really liked it when I finished..lol...Just scored the card on my score board, mounted onto red cardstock from papermill,coloured the image with promarkers and added some ribbon, fine twine and a button,what do you think...hope you like..

Well, what a week it's been, thanks for your help with my comment problems, but I already use Firefox and before that used Google Chrome....is there a pattern forming here I wonder..lol...it's BLOGGER I tell ya...lol...well, today so far so good....

Dream Valley DT card, Challenge 29...wedding/love

Good Afternoon and happy Sunday....hows things girls, well hope the weather holds out. especially for our very own Mel who is marrying today, Good Luck to both of you, have a wonderful day......hence our theme, at Dream Valley this time...WEDDING/LOVE...awww nice eh....

I actually made a card without an image...lol...thought it would be nice to have the sentiment cut from a heart on the front, I love this verse, we used it for Carla's wedding day favour boxes, it's so apt; I think...
Anyway, alot of card scoring, heat embossing in silver...... lace, which Tilly sent me.......
gauze, pearls, ribbons all from stash...made a small envelope, embossed, of course, and added a little' I Do' tag to it on the inside..all dies are Nellies...
