CraftyCatz challenge 195.....and we're back....

Good morning blogland , hope this finds you all in fine fettle...
After having a two week break I am sure all our DT girls at CraftyCatz are feeling ready to roll this morning...it's great to have a break but also nice to get back to it, the kids summer break is almost at an end, well, almost, and before we know it, the Harvest Festival will be on us, then it's a hop, skip and a jump to the other, unmentionable one...lol.....
OK, on with the challenge, it is Christine's first one, she has chosen a kind of mixed bag theme really, It's to use stitching and an option of using  Material....if you read below this it will all be revealed......

This week see's a challenge with an option... take up the challenge with the option and you will be entered into both prize draws for both sponsors....But please remember to state what if any material has been used.
If you choose to leave out the option of material  and just cover the stitching  you will be entered into the  prize from our second sponsor.

We are so lucky to be sponsored by the fabulous KennyK designs, who also gave us some images to play with...

Digi and rubber stamps from KennyK are a fun and edgy way to add the perfect dose of attitude and style to all of your creations!

PRIZE
5 digi images of winners choice

But that's not all, we also have the brilliant Marianne Designs...wow..

After all that, I decided to just sew instead of either/or...I made this Tatty Heart with a tiny tatty heart and the fab KK image coloured with Flexi markers.....what do ya think....
It took longer to make the small one than the larger one did, it's just some material I had left over from another project, roughly cut into a heart shape and sewn, by hand, my machine went on the fritz, and then frayed around the edges with a pin.....yep...that was fun.....the image is also sewn onto a frayed piece of material, the little key and buttons on the smaller heart were from my stash......phew...lol...
Closer look at the fab image, she was a dream to colour too....
There you have it, hope you will come and have a play along with us, it will be great to see what you all come up with....
Two of my gorgeous Grandchildren will be travelling to Newquay in the next few days, now for anyone who does not already know, Newquay is my fav place on earth, well, Cornwall is actually, omg, I just adore the place...
so I am all fidgety and off my game at what I shall be missing, I was asked to go, but i think  because they have so few holidays together, they don't need to drag me along...plus it makes me feel old...lol...so I will be sat here all sad, thinking of how I used to be the one dashing down into those beautiful waters at Great Western and Fistral beaches, and watching all the surfer dudes..lol... oh the smells and the sounds, Heaven, it really is....lol....ah well....lol....
OK...have a fab week-end and if you live in Cornwall............ don't even think about moaning...lol...........
Thanks for being here, hugs Janette.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Well I can say the sun is shining here at the moment, not sure about the weather over the weekend, Cornwall is a nice county lots of great scenery, have a lovely weekend and don't be sad, just think they won't be wearing you out for a few days and you can have a rest and tidy the house while they are away.

This is so beautiful...you clever little sausage!

I love Cornwall, one of the best holidays I remember from childhood was a week spent in Looe. The smell of the sea air and the first time I had a knickerbockerglory!
